  • In a pressure cooker, add thoroughly washed toor dal, moong dal, turmeric powder, salt, oil and some water to pressure cook the dal. Close the lid and take 5 whistles.
  • In a heated pan, add some oil, cumin and hing, let cumin splutter, then add to it the garlic cloves and sauté well until golden brown in colour.
  • Now, add finely chopped onions to it, and add ginger paste, sauté well until golden brown in colour. Then, add turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin, and coriander powder. Now, add chopped green chilli, and sauté on low flame.
  • Then add chopped tomatoes and salt and sauté well, until it becomes soft and mushy.
  • Now, add boiled dal to it, and mix everything well. Also, add water if required to adjust the consistency. Lastly, add the Temptin’ Masala Jadoo and mix well. Let the dal simmer for 2 minutes and turn off the flame.

  • Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp

For the dough:

  • Refined flour – 2 cups
  • Ghee – 3 tbsp
  • Water – ½ cup

For the paratha:

  • Whisked egg – 1
  • Salt, a sprinkle
  • Coriander leaves

For the final stuffing:

  • Temptin’ Tomato Ketchup
  • Sliced cucumber pieces
  • Sliced onions
  • Chicken tikka mixture
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • Juice of half a lemon

Recipe:

  • In a large bowl, add the boneless chicken, curd, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, Temptin’ Masala Jadoo, and lemon juice. Mix everything well using your hand. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • In a heated pan, add oil, chopped ginger, green chilli, and sauté. Then add, the marinated chicken and mix well. Let it cook completely.
  • Then add sliced onion, chopped green chilli, red chilli powder, and mix well. Let it cook for another 2-3 minutes. Keep aside.
  • Now finish it by adding freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  • Now, for preparing the dough, in a large bowl add refined flour, ghee, and water to knead the soft dough. Rest the dough for 15 minutes.

  • Start by washing the rice thoroughly and rinse it. Now, in a heavy bottom pan, head some oil and add cumin seeds, chopped onion. Let it cook until onions turn golden brown. Now, add the green chilli, garlic, and ginger paste, and sauté well.
  • Now, add to it the chopped tomatoes, and let it cook. Then add turmeric powder, Temptin’ Masala Jadoo, garam masala, and mix well.
  • Now to it add the washed rice and mix everything properly. Then add water, again mix well, and add salt. Sprinkle some coriander leaves and close the lid, until it is cooked properly. Open and check after a while.
  • Serve hot with raita, pickle, or papad.
